Christine, Geoff, Helen and Scobie prepare to celebrate the shelter's 10th birthday.
Castlemaine RSPCA will celebrate its 10th birthday with a special get together at the Midland Hotel next Sunday, June 9, between 3pm and 8pm.
Shelter supervisor, Geoff Hall, who has managed the centre since it opened in 1993, said it would be a memorable time for the shelter.
"We'd love to see all of the people who have supported us over the years, including all of the past and present volunteers," Mr Hall said.
"Call in and have a drink with us and help us celebrate this special milestone."
Mr Hall said the main highlight of the past 10 years was the fact that the shelter had been so well accepted and supported by the local community.
"It's just nice to fit in and get the community's support."
The Midland Hotel is in Templeton Street, Castlemaine, opposite the railway station.
